I have written about my digital scrap booking projects ever since this blog started. Today however, I’m writing about the traditional one, where you use simply use glue and paper.
If you’re keen to try traditional scrapping, then now is the perfect time to get started! There are plenty of different directions in which you might decide to take your scrapping, but here are a few suggestions just to get you started.
Firstly, you need to gather together everything which you already have and plan to include in your scrapbook. You might even choose to print out some pictures and images if you only have digital coping. This shouldn’t take long, and can easily be done while you check your emails or play online games at Binguez.es . Once you have your collection of pieces that you want to use in your scrapbook, that’s not to say that you can’t add it. However, knowing what you’ve got to work with can give you a good starting point for your scrapbook.
You will, of course, need a book which you will be able to use. The size and style of the book will depend entirely upon your preference, but you will want to make sure that your chosen scrapbook is able to accommodate everything that you’re looking to include. Many people theme each of their scrapping projects, and if you have decided to follow this trend then you may want to make sure that your book is also in-keeping with this theme and the overall book of your scrapbook. Don’t forget, you can also decorate the cover of your book!
Lastly, stock up on everything you’ll need. Make sure you have scissors, glue, glitter – anything you might want to use. Whilst you can always add finishing touch at a late, there’s nothing more frustrating then running out of something that you need half way through a project. Once you’ve done all this, you’re ready to start scrapping!
